Charge Cap is a warm knit beanie cap, with a built-in powerful LED light module. The light is compact, easy to remove, and to recharge. There are no batteries to replace, and on a full charge it shines brightly for hours. It is a great piece of equipment for nighttime activities. The LED unit has 3 brightness settings, and can be recharged in a USB port. The LED headlamp lasts for 4 hours+ on the brightest setting, and longer on the dimmer settings. On the brightest setting, it is powerful enough to be almost blinding to talk to someone wearing it face-to-face. Plug the LED module into a USB outlet, and a small light will turn from red to green when charging is complete. The LED module is very compact, though if you don’t want to wear the light it during the day, you can always put the LED module in your pocket… and then it’s still a warm hat!
